The team have made a new frame to Bambino in the winter. The main reason was to move
the weight more forward. When Bambino was build in 1998 the limits was not the same as
today. The tractor is still not a component because we have no problems with the gear
and diff.
The new frame seams to give a much more calm tractor says Niels Damgaard.
The engine was rebuild with 3 new pistons and a new camshaft.
In the start of the season we used 2009 set up. But in Sveden we had fit new 12 holes
nozzles. Which is made to a new 17 mm. FIP. but the new injection is still not mounted.
In Sweden we had water injection problems, and in Allingåbro we had problems with the old
Injection pump, in Faxe we got an other pump problem.
In Bernay we hoped all the problems was gone and it sems to truth.
Bambino was 3 so we are happy and hope the new pump soon are ready.

Season 2009 Pro Stock.
We decided to build a new frame to Bambino because we had not enough weight in the front. But it took some time to find out how it should be made and what materiel we should used. And suddenly we wore invited to Ahoy. Then we decided to use the old frame one more year.
The test with the new Fuel Injection Pump showed us that the nozzles did not matched the 17 mm. plunders because we had a red flame like a candle out of the exhaust. But it seems like the engine rpm was higher. At the last test pull at home, we tried smaller nozzles and destroyed the 17 mm. plunders. So we have to make more tests before the pump is ready for competition. The only engine problem we have dad this year is a sticking exhaust valve stem.
The light nose became more and more irritating to look at, and after Niels lost consciousness in Germany after a wild pull, and later lost a wheel I was angry on the team, and told them they had to move more weight forward which they did bay chancing the weight brackets so we could move them 20 cm. forward. It was much better.
In the middle of the season we struggled with too much differs between the exhaust temperatures on each cylinder and found that the injectors did not flow the same. After careful work with the nozzles and holders they all six gave 4,5 liter pr. minut at 10 bar pressure. Calculations tell us that is gives about 1000 bar in delivery pressure. That is what we want with our home made pump camshaft which has a lift on 14 mm. Its design is not from the 8500 series but our oven, and after we had it induction harden we have no worn.
We was third in the Danish championship we had no chance to beat John Deere and Bukke Bruse.
At the European championship in Holland the team found the perfect set-up, and we became third overall. It was a very big satisfaction to beat a, lot of tractors with billet pumps.
In 2010 the 17 mm. Bosch P. pump will be ready, at the moment it can deliver 120 mm3 pr pump degrees.
Blue Power 2009 season.
Blue Power won the Danish championship for the 16. time but maybe it was the last time because next year at least one new alky super stock will compete in Denmark.
We have no chance to follow the alky burners but have a lot of fun to pull in the class and make fin controlled pulls with the old diesel which is very reliable all thou we still try to improve the power.
Over the years it seems that we have lost rpm. And suddenly I remembered that back in 1994 we had all the turbines back-cut, since then all four turbo have had the shafts chanced to stocks which is not modified. We therefore decided to back-cut all four turbo but first time it was used was in Herning where the shaft in the small broke. Niels then tried to mount a big 600 exhaust house on the new turbo which helped. Now we can make one more bar boost, that means 16,5 bar. The back pressure has dropped to 13.5 bar. When Blue Power made full pull in Holland at European Championship it was the best pull ever Niels has made. Sad the gearbox gave up in the pull off. This was the second time this year. First time we damaged the engine but second time no problem. Blue Power has used e F.I.P. with the same camshaft like Bambino but the delivery on Blue Power is 1300 mm3. Bambino is only 1000 mm3.
In the wintertime the gear has to be made stronger.

15. marts 2009, In Ahoy Blue Power could not make enought turbo pressure, but at home
we did not find anything wrong. So yesterday we testet the tractor in Denmark in Gamst
on an indoor 100 meter track.
In the first pull Niels had the same problem, but in second attempt he gave it more boost
before he lift his food from the chluch. Normal he start to lift the food at 4 bar turbo
pressure, but in the winter we have mounted a new camshaft with more cam separation to
run higher rpm.
The new cam do not produce boost as fast as the old cam, but it seams like it makes more
engine speed. The date lock had messured 6000 rpm. two times under the pull, and that is
more that we normal messure.
On Bambino we wanted to test a new Bosch 7100 serie F.I.P. with 17 mm. plunder.
But it was to diificult to control and two times the engine started to run the wrong way

After the second time we lost a lot of oil pressure and we could not find out what was
wrong.
So we jet do not know if the new F.I.P. will give Bambino more rpm. and power but we hope

21. feb. 2009. The Team is at the moment working very had to be ready to pull in Ahoy
with both tractors.
We have made som improvmens since last year, but our plan is to wait to the outdoor
season with some of the chance, because it is not easy to make test i Ahoy.
